ABOUT Downtown Toledo Real Estate Developer, CRANE DEVELOPMENT
Crane Development. is a value-add commercial real estate investment and development company focused on accelerating urban revitalization in downtown Toledo, Ohio.
Led by developer, Matt Rubin, Crane Development is fully engaged in the downtown Toledo revitalization movement on a daily basis. The company has developed relationships among key community stakeholders and in addition to its investment, Crane Development has supported downtown redevelopment by speaking before Toledo City Council, the City of Toledo Planning Commission and the Toledo Design Center.
In February 2015, Crane Development acquired a vacant restaurant property at 614 Adams Street. Located within the epicenter of downtown's Central Business District, the property is less than a 5 minute walk from the site of the new ProMedica Headquarters, One Government Center, County Courthouse, fully occupied apartment buildings and the historic Valentine Theater. The property was recently renovated and is now Fowl and Fodder's downtown Toledo location. Crane Development is incredibly pleased to have worked with the Fowl and Fodder restaurant team on this project.
In April 2017, Crane Development acquired 620 Adams Street. Located within a few feet of 614 Adams, this 7,600 square-foot building is a blank canvas for downtown Toledo's next significant mixed-use space.
In addition to strategically investing in downtown properties, Crane Development is pursuing public and private funding opportunities for Complete Streets infrastructure improvements to the 600 block of Adams Street. These modern improvements will leverage the block's density to encourage foot, bike and vehicular traffic and attract high quality tenants.
